SAP/Automated Data Capture (ADC) Support Team – Capgemini

- Managed/supported multiple MS 2003 Server Clusters in a manufacturing environment
as part of a middleware software/hardware solution to track production materials
from receipt through processing and passing data on to an SAP data warehouse. All
these clusters are remotely managed, and span the country.
- Deploy and manage 100+ Intermec barcode scan guns spread across same plant locations.
Guns are used for shipping/receiving in warehouse and cold storage facilities and
run a custom application that is part of the middleware solution mentioned above.
- Deploy/manage hardened touchscreen embedded XP devices at plants used for inventory
and production tracking as part of the middleware solution mentioned above.

Desktop Management Tools Administrator – Capgemini, Lee’s Summit, MO

- Managed 5 independent implementations of LANDesk from design and planning stages
through hardware purchase and installation. This application is used for the Remote
Desktop Management of 4000+ desktops and laptops for 5 different customers. The
installation included Windows Server 2000/2003, SQL Server 2000 and MSDE 2000 along
with various management agents for remote administration of the servers, which were
homed in a remote datacenter in Dallas, TX.
- Performed Patch management for 4500+ desktops/laptops including testing of all Windows
Vulnerability releases and third-party application patches for compatibility in
a virtual environment for each customer, plus pilot testing by group prior to enterprise
production release. Patch management for 400+ Wintel Servers including scheduling
deployment and reboots to meet customer maintenance windows, and included all patches
for OS and applications from all vendors. (Microsoft, JAVA, Sun, Oracle, etc.)
- Extensive daily duties involving automation and scripting of various software deployments,
from basic file copies to full-blown application installations and upgrades via
both electronic and CD-based distribution. Re-packaged multiple software installations
to meet corporate standards and/or customizations as necessary.

- Performed as part of a remote-based support team that provided onsite desktop and
server support for Farmland Foods plant locations across the country. The team numbered
5 Technical Analysts to cover 10 plant locations from Salt Lake City, Utah, to Springfield,
Massachusetts.

Computer-Based Maintenance Training Admin – Farmland Foods, Crete, NE
6/95 – 12/97
- Managed a computer based training program for the Farmland Foods plant at Crete,
NE. that included working with a 50-member maintenance workforce, plant management,
and the local chapter of the United Food & Commercial Workers Union (UFCW) due to
the maintenance wages being affected by the training levels achieved.

Farmland Industries started a joint venture with Ernst & Young to create the OneSystem
Group entity, which, after a merger between Capgemini and Ernst & Young dropped
the "Ernst & Young" name to become a part of the Americas outsourcing arm of Capgemini.
